System Requirement:
·
Computer :
486 Processor or higher
·
Operating System : XP, Windows 95/98, or Windows NT
Hardware Setup:
·
Your PC should have a 9-pin or a 25-pin connector on the back that is labeled
COM1, COM2, COM3, or COM4. (Sometimes the ports are labeled COMA,
COMB...)
·
You will need to attach a cable from the COM port on your PC, to the connector

connection, that is, pin 1 of one end is connected to pin 1 of the other and so on.
Do NOT use a null-modem cable.
·
A 9-pin to 9-pin cable is normally provided with your instrument. A 9-pin to 25-
pin adapter may be required if your PC has a 25-pin connector. These adapters
can be obtained at most computer stores.
