Cameras That Can See Around Corners
Researchers at MIT, Harvard, and Rice University have developed an exciting new technology that enables cameras to see rough images of objects around corners. The approach utilizes femtosecond laser bursts and sophisticated algorithms to decode the travel time and angle of impact of scattered bits of laser light that have interacted with the sample.
This is truly innovative and exciting research. Congratulations to the team for pushing the boundaries of photonics to new heights. A descriptive video can be found here.
